According to the Washington Post and others, Jayson Werth had surgery today on his broken left wrist. He’s likely to be out for months. Werth broke the wrist making a sliding catch in a game against the Phillies on Sunday, May 6.

Hi Mom! I think everyone with wrists, and especially everyone who has broken a wrist, could empathize with Jayson at that moment. Ouch!
