As the last roster spots for my 2012 Nationals were filled, Chad Tracy became the feel-good story, one about a guy who worked his way back to the majors after playing 44 games in the minors and 40 games in Japan in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
And it keeps getting better. On Opening Day, Tracy smacked a double in the top of the 9th that led to the winning run in a come-from-behind rally. Yesterday, he did it again with a pinch-hit single in the 8th that was part of comeback which featured contributions up and down the lineup.
Hey Chad, Welcome to the Nationals!
